American management never disappoints

Filed under: Project Management — Administrator @ 12:06 am

The AdAge.com survey has all of management up in arms. It seems they did a survey that was used to state that about 25% of working Americans spend about 10% of their scheduled work time reading blogs.

So in typical fashion, management can be expected to demand the end of on the clock blog reading! Forget that the statistical viability of any survey should be considered before making a definitive decision, except of course for corporate management.

Survey questions are some of the most difficult to create without bias. Survey questions can be fashioned to deliver any answer the surveyor desires. So the question fo statistical relevence and bias are never considered instead, it’s easier to over react over a single data point.

American management never disappoints!
